Our school is planning to develop and improve an area because
it isn't much fun to play in.
Here are some of our ideas.
Swings, painted rocks, native bush area, bird house, scarecrow, fences, bean tower, rubbish art, mosaic, wooden chair, baskets, plants in gumboots, paint blue barrals and plant flowers in them, pumkin patch, bird feeder, arch ways and statues.Here are some of the drafts we have made to landscapethe area.
We already have vegetable gardens at school. But, they are too small and the vegetables went to waste. We would like to put our old vegetable gardens in our new garden area. We will also make larger vegetable gardens. We would like to have a supply of vegetable all year round to cook with.
We have had a mosaic competition and we would like to put some mosaics up around the school to make it look more colorful . These are some of the designs. We wanted our designs to represent our rural community.

We have made a special corner in our school libary dedicated to books about the enviroment and gardening with booklets provided by Tui!
19/9/2011 We heve placed our gardens in there new places and removed the monkey bars. We are very exited about planting strawberrys, letteuce and a range of herbs.
7/10/11 We have put a new vegie garden in our enviroment area. We plan to plant a wide range of vegetables in it.
We have also brought a brand new chicken coop thatis far better than the small one that only housed two chickens that we used to have.
Last but not least we have removed our silver bars to replace at a later date.
28-10-11 We have move all the plants from our old black gardens into our new wooden garden. We are exited about our new garden and hope it will be better than the black boxes.
